A la carte menus
We regret we are unable to provide menus which change on a regular basis.
The websites of all our restaurants contain such information on the food and the price range as we are able to provide:
Set, Lunch, Pre-theatre Menus
All our restaurants have set menus for lunch.
In addition Veeraswamy and the Masala Zone restaurants have pre and post theatre menus.
The individual websites contain the relevant information.
Halal Food
At Chutney Mary, a good selection of lamb dishes are halal. All chicken dishes are halal. In addition, we have a large selection of seafood dishes.
At Veeraswamy, all the chicken and lamb used are halal. In addition to having a wide variety of fish and vegetarian dishes.
At Amaya, a good selection of chicken and lamb used are halal, in addition to having a wide variety of fish and vegetarian dishes.
Our staff at all restaurants will be pleased to advise you as to which dishes are halal.
Vegetarian; Vegan Dishes
Our current menus have many dishes suitable for vegetarians. The Vegan choice is much more limited.

Garlic free; Onion Free Dishes and Jain dishes
Our normal menu does not include garlic-free & onion-free Indian dishes. These can only be made by special request in respect of significant orders.
However unspiced grills or roasts can be made for individual orders placed in advance.

Nutritional Information
We regret but it is not practical to provide nutritional information on our dishes.
Dishes with nuts
We regret that we are unable to serve customers with peanut allergy / intolerances at our restaurants.
This is because all our dishes can contain traces of nut. We are therefore unable to advise that any dish is nut-free. We cook extensively with nuts. There could be accidental cross-contamination from cooking oils, utensils or nut particles since we do not operate in a surgical environment. We are therefore unable to accept liability as a result of this.
Gluten Free Dishes
All our restaurants have a wide range of Gluten free dishes. These dishes are not identified separately on the menu, However please inform your server of your requirement and they will be happy to assist you to make your choice and avoid you from ordering any dishes that may contain gluten.
Lactose intolerant dishes

The cook book we have is written by Camellia Panjabi - one of our promoter Directors. It is entitled 50 Great Curries of India.
It has sold over 1.25 million copies and is the single bestselling book on Indian food in the world today. It provides illuminating explanations of the philosophy behind the food, descriptions of exotic spices & the intricacies of cooking a curry.

Wheelchair access
Masala Zone: All Masala Zone restaurants have wheelchair access, and all have accessible toilets with the exception of Masala Zone Soho.

Children
Children are welcome at all times at Masala Zone restaurants. High chairs, nappy changing facilities, and buggy access are all available. In addition there are painting books, crayons & kids menus.
In relation to the fine dining restaurants, there inevitably are greater restrictions, out of consideration to the other guests. High chairs are not available. The following is the policy:
Amaya, Chutney Mary & Veeraswamy:
Lunch:
Monday to Friday: Children above the age of 4 are allowed.
Saturday and Sunday – Children of all ages welcome.
Dinner: Monday - Sunday - Children aged 6 to 10 are welcome for reservations at 6pm & 6.30pm only and must vacate by 8.30pm.
Pukka Bar at Chutney Mary – children of all ages are welcome at all times.
We regret that we are unable to accommodate prams and push chairs in any of our restaurants.
In the interest of other diners, if children are noisy or running around, we will have to stop service and ask the family to leave.

Dress code
The dress code at Amaya, Chutney Mary & Veeraswamy is Smart / Elegant.
Our customers like to dine in a stylish environment and therefore we cannot entertain guests wearing shorts torn or scruffy jeans, polo-shirts emblazoned with logos or numbers, flip flops or sports sneakers, sportswear & baseball caps. Our restaurant managers will use utmost discretion and have complete authority to deny access to any guest whose attire and overall appearance doesn’t comply with the dress code.
There are no dress restrictions at Masala Zone restaurants.

Food or Cocktail Recipe Request
We regret we are unable to part with recipes which are the lifeblood of our success. However, please see above for our cookbook.
We are inundated with requests of one type or another to support charities – which are equivalent to our making charitable donations.
It is impractical and uneconomic for us to so do on an extensive basis. We already support a number of charities with whom we have a long term relationship. We do not participate in industry-wide collective events.
We are happy to support charities relating to schools close to where our restaurants are located. If you fall in this category please contact us.
